You don't have an easy job, to say the least. But you keep giving these guys an opportunity to know Christ, even when they don't appreciate it.

Todd preached a great and encouraging sermon today about the need to keep standing when things don't seem to be going well in the battle. I don't remember if you were in the auditorium or had to deal with some of the guys this morning, but Todd mentioned that he had a CD of the same sermon from a church in Arkansas where he first preached it. Maybe you could get copy. It really encouraged me, and I think it would encourage you too. (Todd does a great job of saying what needs to be said when it needs to be said. And I needed it today, too.)Terry Laudetthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17725093818552655944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4206974101759413323.post-40193664980023183352008-04-13T18:24:00.000-06:002008-04-13T18:24:00.000-06:00Thank you, Terry! They proceeded to "rag" on me while we were there. Talk about feeding and giving drink to your "enemy." In the matter of an hour, these guys hated my guts--seriously. No burning coals were heaped today. I felt so disrespected.

I struggle with that enemy/neighbor tension too. Thank you for articulating this for me.Bob, Sarah, and Miriam Logsdonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07821402903813538192noreply@blogger.com
