Snobbery

"Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up" (James 4:10, NIV).

On the Heartlight website today, I read a powerful article by Kimberli J. Brackett titled "I Was a Snob and It Breaks My Heart." In the piece, she wrote, "I know I must have broken God's heart every time I told someone I was a Christian when my actions represented everything but Jesus Christ." All I can say is, "Amen, sister, I can certainly identify with those thoughts. I hate it when I misrepresent Jesus, too."
