God's Promise to Believers

"Those who know your name will trust you,
for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you" (Psalm 9:10).

Difficult times come in life. Dreams fade away. Friends are lost. Enemies are made. Health deteriorates. Jobs are lost. Churches collapse. Wars start. Role models fail. Frustrations and anxieties multiply.

But God has made a promise to those who trust him and seek him: He will not abandon them. He said it, and he meant it. Everything else may go wrong, but he will not forsake us. He's as good as his word. We can trust him on it.

Rick,
You never know. Someone might still disagree. This could become my most controversial post yet:).

Seriously, thanks for the comment. This is my first day of looking at the "Followers" and other gadgets on the blogger web site in a long time. In fact, "Followers" did not exist the last time I looked. But today I'm home with a sick child (cold and asthma problems), so I've had the time to work on my blog a little. I'm going to your blog next to sign on as a follower. You write some good stuff.

Rick,
For some reason, I was unable to sign up as a follower, but I will try again later.

Tis true and something we need to be reminded of.
